Rio Grande Valley Diabetes Association to Host Facebook Live Panel in Recognition of Diabetes Alert Day
McAllen, TX – March 10, 2025 – In recognition of Diabetes Alert Day on March 26th, the Rio Grande Valley Diabetes Association (RGVDA) will host a Facebook Live Panel of experts to raise awareness and educate the community on the importance of diabetes management and prevention. The event will take place at 6:00 PM on the RGVDA’s official Facebook page. For those who want to attend in person. There will be limited space at our office, 3200 North 23rd, Suite 1, McAllen. This interactive session will feature a team of medical professionals from various specialties, including cardiology, nephrology, ophthalmology, nutrition, and amputation prevention. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about diabetes and its complications directly from the experts and get their questions answered in both English and Spanish.
The Facebook Live event aims to empower the community by providing vital information about managing diabetes, recognizing its symptoms, and preventing complications. Attendees are encouraged to submit their questions live during the event, ensuring a personalized and engaging experience for all.
